SEC Power Poll Ballot: February 28-March 6

hoopspowerpoll2009logoa

Here is the LOHD ballot for this week….

1. Kentucky Wildcats

The ‘Cats losing to the Vols still does not drop them in this poll as they are clearly the best team overall in the SEC.

2. Vanderbilt Commodores

The ‘Dores are happy it seems to be the second best team in the SEC…I mean come on we are talking about Vandy here.

3. Tennessee Volunteers

The Vols beat Kentucky…big deal so did South Carolina.

4. Mississippi St. Bulldogs

The Bulldogs are playing strong basketball the last two weeks which is key this time of year.

5. Florida Gators

Yes the Gators did lose to Georgia…that did happen and now let’s see how it impacts them from this point on.

6. Mississippi Rebels

This team is a mystery to me as they have so much potential but putting a winning formula together seems to be hard for them to do.

7. Arkansas Razorbacks

The Razorbacks’ lost to LSU…need I say more here?

8. Georgia Bulldogs

‘Dawgs have bite yet may be a little late to get into the NIT.

9. South Carolina Gamecocks

What can you say really….USC has lost 5 straight games.

10. Auburn Tigers

Have glimpses of something but just not a complete package to compete this year.  Lebo might be shown the door.

11. Alabama Crimson Tide

Alabama fans must tell themselves this is a re-building year.

12. LSU Tigers

The Tigers beat Arkansas but not good enough to get you out of the SEC basement.
