The USC Gamecocks Baseball team lost the series at 14th ranked East Carolina over the weekend and this caused a fall in the polls. Now SC sits at 15th in Baseball America, 22nd in Collegiate Baseball and 23rd in the ESPN Poll.
They return to action Wednesday at 3pm against Presbyterian as this game has been moved to tomorrow due to the weather.
Of course this weekend USC and Clemson will play three games against each other. Friday night at Clemson, Saturday at Fluor Field in Greenville and Sunday in Columbia. Clemson is 12th in Baseball America and 13th in Collegiate Baseball’s ranking.

Injury notes — outfield Adam Matthews has a sprained ankle and is probably going to miss the next few games. He was scheduled to have an X-Ray yesterday and I have not seen what the outcome of that was. On a brighter note, Jackie Bradley Jr. is expected to make his first start of the season versus PC. You may recall he has been recovering from hand surgery. He singled in his first and only at-bat of the season Sunday at East Carolina.
