The University of South Carolina Baseball team rose slightly in the Baseball America Poll and held constant in the Collegiate Baseball rankings after going 5-0 last week and having a 11-4 overall record.
The Gamecocks remain 23rd in Collegiate Baseball and are up to 16th from previous the 19th position in the Baseball America poll. USC will play the Furman Paladins on Tuesday at Fluor Field in Greenville and then return home for a Wednesday game with Davidson before opening SEC play in Columbia with the Tennessee Volunteers coming to town this weekend.
Baseball America has Virginia as its’ number one team. Collegiate Baseball has Arizona State at the top of its poll.
