The South Carolina Gamecocks got a jump on the 2012 recruiting cycle with the commitment from Kendric Salley (5-11 215), a running back, of Williston-Elko who gave his pledge to USC Friday afternoon.
Salley was offered late last month from USC’s Shane Beamer. It was his first and Salley jumped at the chance to wear the ‘garnet and black.’ Salley was among the State of South Carolina’s top rushers this past season with over 2000 yards and 36 touchdowns.
Excellent pick-up for Spurrier’s squad and the first for the 2012 class.
