It will be Ole Miss Rebels v USC Gamecocks in Round 1 of SEC Tourney

colonel-rebel-zumasportsworld464175With the regular season completed, the University of South Carolina Gamecocks now turns its focus to Hoover, Ala., and Regions Park, the site of the Southeastern Conference Tournament where the sixth-seeded Rebels (36-20, 16-14) will face the third-seeded South Carolina Gamecocks (43-13, 21-9) on Wednesday afternoon. The game between Ole Miss and South Carolina will be the second of the day and take place approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the day’s first game between Auburn and Alabama that begins at 9:30 a.m.  The game will be shown on tv, just tune in to SportsSouth.

The University of Mississippi has lost five in a row, seven of its last nine in league play and recently got swept by Auburn this past weekend.  The Gamecocks will enter this SEC game with new found hope after winning the last game in the UF series to avoid a sweep.
