We may be the only South Carolina Gamecocks blog site that feels that USC running backs coach Everette Sands is the right man for the job as the head coach at The Citadel.
According to Sands himself he has interest in the job and basically says it is a dream job for him. He coached the Bulldogs during two separate stints – 1999-2000 and 2005-10. Sands has been at USC for just two years and has been in the coaching business for 16 years. He has the inside knowledge, he is a alumni of the school and has the desire. Sounds to me like the right mix for the job…..do you?
