Four-star defensive tackle Phillip Dukes of Manning, South Carolina took a official visit to the University of North Carolina this past weekend. He has also taken official visits to USC, Clemson and Alabama.
Dukes is a anchor on the defensive line that every team desires. Dukes finished 2010 with 50 tackles, 15 for loss, five sacks, and four blocked kicks.
Last week, coaches from Clemson, South Carolina and Alabama were at Manning High School for several hours to “sell” Dukes on why he needs to sign with them. The decision is between to go with the Clemson Tigers or the Gamecocks. He is a “USC lean” heading into Signing Day.
Dukes is reportedly set to make his college choice known at 11 am on Tuesday.
One thing to point out is the Jerrell Adams connection as Dukes and Adams have a desire to play at the same school. With that said, here is our prediction…
