Today MLB announced that Manny from Mannywood will be suspended for 50 games for violating the baseball drug policy.     This was supposed to be the Dodgers year.  They are on a 13 game winning streak at home and have already jumped out to a nice lead in the NL West.  Now that there big hitter […]

Well it seems for all the hope the gamecock faithful has had in seeing the gamecock baseball squad make it to the postseason….you just might get that wish at least as of today. Still lots of work to do on the schedule and we just hope that want we witnessed vs Vandy is the new […]

CONGRATS to South Carolina outfielder Jackie Bradley Jr., who helped lead the Gamecocks (30-18) to a conference series sweep against Vanderbilt, was named SEC co-freshman of the week on Monday. Bradley batted 9-for-14 with a home run, four RBIs and four runs scored over the weekend.

Truth bubbling out now about Morgan

Over at FITSnews (a political SC blog) there has been some interesting revelations – HERE -about what really occurred with the recent Mike Morgan departure. I think most USC fans knew that this was a little deeper than a simple resignation. That is bogus and we are not dumb. A guy does not win a […]

DeAngelo Mack’s two-run single in the bottom of the ninth inning lifted South Carolina to a 7-6 come-from-behind victory over No. 20 Clemson. The win marks […]

Former USC QB Blake Mitchell and the Force suffered their second loss of the season over the weekend. This makes the Carolina Force 0-2. Blake put in a good effort in the 47-27 defeat at the hands of the Reading Express. Blake was 25 for 49 for 217 yds with 4 TD passes and 1 […]

USC Baseball Wins vs CofC

Carolina improves to 15-6 on the year and I wish this out of conference success could translate to some SEC wins. This was a good win and Blake Cooper did a nice job as our bats were alive early. Let’s hope it continues as the Gamecocks return home for a non-conference game with Georgia Southern […]
