Well today we get to see which of the final teams get their ticket punched for the “Sweet 16” and lots of good basketball to watch today with interesting match-ups. I think most of America is still trying to get over the Northern Iowa upset, seriously who picked that? Raise your hand if you picked UNI over KU. How is that bracket looking after all the early upsets? Thanks Nova, Hoyas, KU and others for making this truly “March Madness.”
What to watch for on Day 4:
- Who will be the next upset? Can the ‘Cuse slip by the Zags? Can the real GT stand up and if so then OSU will go down in my opinion as GT has weapons but they are bi-polar? Can Cornell follow the lead of other smaller schools this tourney season and take down the mighty Badgers? Can Crawford lead the X-men over WVU? Is Duke going to be the next to fall due to the defense of the Bears? I think the upset of the day is Cornell over the Badgers.
- Game of the day: MSU and Maryland. Two teams evenly matched that could yield a very good game. Both are two teams no one really talked about in the regular season and here they sit with a chance to go to the round of 16. Who has a better game between Vasquez or MSU’s Draymond Green, I think that will determine who wins this classic NCAA game.
- Can Cali give Duke a scare? I honestly do not know much about the Bears basketball team as most said the PAC-10 sucked at basketball in ’09-’10 but look at them now. How much will they talk about Jamal Boykin, who transferred from Duke to Cali today? Will Duke show some power like Kentucky did last night and get a big win?
- I am looking forward to watching Cornell’s Jeff Foote, Purdue’s E’Twuan Moore, X-men’s Jordan Crawford and if WVU Coach Bob Huggins is dressed up or in a sweat suit?
Gotta love this time of year.
