How Sweet the 16 really is!

Well half of the Sweet 16 games have been played and Butler did do it, as we found out last night. Tonight’s slate of games are even more interesting, with NIU playing Michigan State, and Tennessee playing Ohio State. I personally don’t see Duke having any problems with Purdue, even though that is the only bet I have left in Vegas to win or lose. Here are my thoughts on the games tonight:

Game of the night: Ohio State vs. Tennessee, here in the south we love when a SEC school is matched up against the Big 10. I think we all know why, just check BCS bowl games the last 5 years. Well this is basketball and yes it still maters. The match up to watch is J.P. Prince vs. Evan Turner. The 6-9 point guard should had trouble scoring against the length of Tennessee. Look for Tennessee to come out and run as well all know the Big 10 is known for being slow.  UT win.

Upset alert of the night: Got to go with the Panthers of UNI. If they can knock Kansas out, why not Michigan State. I having a feeling Michigan State will trying to prove to the world that they can play without Kalin Lucas. As the nation has become giant fans of Ali Farokhmanesh, look for UNI to spread the wealth tonight. I have UNI winning but it will be no upset like the Kansas shocker.

Moving on to the Elite 8, my bracket busted long ago. So now I am just pulling for all underdogs.
