Toronto Blue Jays Raid the Roost to Select Sam Dyson

With the 126th overall pick in the draft the Toronto Blue Jays select South Carolina junior right-handed pitcher Sam Dyson.  The pick occured in the fourth round of the 2010 MLB Draft today and he is the first gamecocks baseball player on the team currently to hear his name called.

For the season, Dyson is 5-5 with a 4.00 ERA in innings pitched. He has 93 strikeouts and opponents are batting just .243 against him.
