Where is the Clemson Beat Writers on this one?

Could there be more to the story of the Cumbie beating?  Like another Clemson football player being associated with this terrible beating in Clemson?  Hmmmm….as we have said before, it seems the mainstream media has a little double standard going when it reports Clemson arrests vs. USC arrests.

FITSnews.com, same site that broke the alleged Haley affair, is reporting today (HERE) that another Clemson football player was there at the scene.  Senior wide receiver Terrance Ashe is the other player that was not part of the original story.

Let’s again give you the details of the damage this beating inflicted on another person at the hands of Cumbie –

The victim, according to the report, was transported to Greenville Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries including his nose broken in several places, six or seven facial fractures, numerous lacerations in the mouth, a hematoma of the right temple with swelling and bleeding of the brain, strained muscles in the neck and vertebra, two black eyes, a broken tooth, and two other teeth bent back into the gum.

I am not accusing nor implying senior wide receiver Terrance Ashe is guilty of wrongdoing but something smells fishy in regards to this incident from the crime, the details of the event, the people involved and to its’ reporting both from Clemson and the Media.

Seems now Ashe has been suspended from the team until August according to FITSnews but still no truth to what happened on May 28th.  Nothing from Upstate Media sources on even the suspension of Ashe much less why he was suspended.

Can we not just get what took place that evening?  Where is the Clemson beat writers on this one?
