The Gamecocks BEAT Clemson by the score of 4-3. Next up for the winning team from South Carolina will be the UCLA Bruins in the National Championship Series.
All around great showing as Dyson and Price did their job on the mound. Whit and Walker provided sparks from the batters box. Regardless of all the stats – USC SENDS CLEMSON HOME AGAIN !
Just like in 2002 at the CWS, USC beats CU twice to send the Tigers home and USC advances to play for the national championship.
USC will face UCLA in a best-of-three series that begins Monday at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN. UCLA eliminated TCU earlier Saturday.
