With the South Carolina Gamecocks Men’s Basketball Team starting the 2010-2011 season with practice this Friday, there was a bit of bad news before it starts. USC’s guard Ramon Galloway will be out four to six weeks with a broken right foot.
Galloway is a 6-foot-1 sophomore who was expected to compete for a starting spot in the backcourt with the departure of former Gamecocks Devan Downey and Brandis Raley-Ross. Galloway played 31 games last season with six starts. He averaged nearly eight points a game off the bench and was third on the team with 39 3-pointers.
South Carolina basketball coach Darrin Horn says Galloway’s injury Saturday was not basketball-related. Hmmm…..
Certainly did not start this season off on the right foot…..
