Today at 2:30pm the USC Gamecocks landed a playmaker when Timber Creek High School (NJ) WR Damiere Byrd announced that he plans to play for the University of South Carolina next year. He was/is a four star recruit. Byrd is 5’9″ around 160 pounds but has blazing speed as he has been clocked at 4.3 in the 40-yard dash. Byrd had offers from Florida, Iowa, Ole Miss, and Oregon.
We here at LOHD welcome Mr. Byrd to Gamecock Nation and can’t wait to see him on the field next season.
