The South Carolina Gamecocks football team, fresh off a Clemson win, got word today that Shamier Jeffery (St. Matthews, S.C./Calhoun County) has chosen to sign with them over a host of others like Kentucky and Auburn.
Shamier ( 6’2 195lbs) is the younger brother of Alshon, who currently plays WR for Carolina, and like his brother projects to play wide out in college. But he is a special playmaker and surely USC will find ways to get him the ball like in the “Wildcock” formation.
Jeffery is commitment No. 25 for South Carolina and Coach Spurrier in the 2011 class. This is a great pickup for Carolina and welcome Shamier to Gamecock Nation.
