David Climer of The Tennessean pens a interesting column -“Time for Ohio State to join SEC” – not so much for the idea but for the reasoning as he centers the writing around SEC cheating.
Here is the beginning of his writing…
Lying coach?
Check.
Cheating boosters?
Check.
Jock-sniffing president?
Check.
Fans in denial?
Check.
Yep, the Buckeyes will fit right in. Welcome to our big, dysfunctional family of quarterback brokers and tree poisoners.

Wow….that is a bit extreme from the writer but you know he does have somewhat of a point that the SEC and the NCAA need to clean up some of the “issues” that have given college football a black-eye. Until that happens and issues of cheating or oversigning are addressed expect more “digs” like this from writers and fans. I do believe that Coach Tressel needed a harsher punishment but when the College President is quoted saying,” Let me be very clear. I’m just hoping the coach doesn’t dismiss me.” What do you expect to happen?
