All the new baseball polls came out on Monday, and the Gamecocks are in all of them. After beating Clemson on Tuesday and winning two of three from Bakersfield over the weekend, USC moved in some of the polls… but not always in the way you would expect.

Apparently three of the polls thought that losing to Bakersfield on Sunday was pretty inexcusable, while Perfect Game thought taking a series from Clemson and Bakersfield was pretty good. It’s too early to be concerned about things like these, but it’s fun to look at.
