USC Football
1. SI’s Andy Staples is out with his post-spring Top 25. Oklahoma is his top choice but he has the USC Gamecocks at number eight in his rankings.
2. South Carolina is being labled the best team of the SEC East.
3. Spurrier says Garcia is a changed man. Expect to see him join the team next week. Don’t act surprised.
USC Baseball
1. The answer to this question is yes. Is Gamecock baseball the nation’s best program?
2. USC associate head coach Chad Holbrook has his named mentioed for the Tennessee head coach opening and the opening at Nebraska. Rumor has it he is suppose to talk via phone with the Vols today about the opening. Last night, USC head coach Ray Tanner made it clear he, and USC, won’t let Holbrook just walk away without an attempt to keep him.
