Many of the NCAA sports blogs on the Bloguin network get together to offer their two cents on the Heisman Race. This Gamecocks blog joins in the action and offers our opinion (imagine that). So here is our top three after week one:
1. Kellen Moore, QB, Boise State
Color me impressed. He was efficient and lead his team to a needed
win versus UGa. He was 28 for 34 in passing with 261 yards and 3 TDs.
2. Russell Wilson, QB, Wisconsin
He was 10 for 13 for 255 yards passing and 2 TDs. He ran for a 46
yard TD. He was the catalyst of the Badgers offense and had the best
showing amongst Big 10 players.
3. Marcus Lattimore, RB, South Carolina
Had a solid game to open the season – 112 yards and 3 TDs. He also
had 3 catches for 33 yards.
