Thanks to errors, the South Carolina Gamecocks are number 10 in the AP poll. There was a error in balloting and the correction moved USC up one spot.
Nebraska slipped from No. 10 to No. 11, trading places with South Carolina.
That was not the only error that helped the Gamecocks end up in the top 10. Errors by East Carolina helped get a season opening win and this past week, Georgia certainly helped the cause.
The Gamecocks (2-0) remained ranked No. 11 in the USA Today poll.
