The South Carolina Gamecocks picked up commitment No. 19 as running back Jamari Smith committed to wear the “garnet & black” in the future.
The Neptune Beach, Florida native ranks as the 16th ranked all-purpose back in the class of 2013 according to 247Sports. The 5’10” 195 pound back chose USC over offers from Auburn, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame, Penn State, and several others.
Last season Smith rushed for 2100 yards and 28 touchdowns.
