The SEC football landscape is starting to make sense as fall as who are contenders and who are pretenders. The season is still young but here is how we see the SEC Power Poll after the fourth week:
1. Alabama Crimson Tide
The most complete team in the league and in the nation.
2. LSU Tigers
Beat Auburn by the skin of their teeth. They look vulnerable.
3. Georgia Bulldogs
Took care of Vandy. Not saying a lot there.
4. South Carolina Gamecocks
Made a statement in beating Missouri as it was their best game of the year.
5. Florida Gators
The 2012 Gators are not to be overlooked.
6. Mississippi St. Bulldogs
Making a strong argument as the second best team in the SEC West.
7. Texas A&M Aggies
I am still not sold on this squad but they are winning.
8. Tennessee Volunteers
It was UAB and that gave them problems early.
9. Missouri Tigers
Got potential but gotta step up on defense.
The rest…..
10. Vanderbilt Commodores
11. Mississippi Rebels
12. Auburn Tigers
13. Arkansas Razorbacks
14. Kentucky Wildcats
