It appears, though it isn’t certain, that former South Carolina football player Marcus Lattimore may be retiring from the NFL.

The 49ers selected Lattimore in the fourth round of the 2013 NFL draft. He spent all of last season working to overcome the injury. He signed a four-year deal worth more than $2.4 million, including a $300,584 signing bonus.
Whatever the outcome of Lattimore, he is still one of the best to ever put on the “garnet & black.”
