Here is our college basketball top rankings for week three.
Every Sunday The Hoops Manifesto and the NCAA hoops writers from Bloguin come together to vote on the four best teams in the country, our Fabulous Four, plus the best team from a non-BCS conference. We present to you the Fab Four Plus One – because who has time to read a list of 25 teams, right?
Here is our ballot:
1. Duke
The Blue Devils made K State look silly and that is saying a whole lot. Best word to describe this Duke team is – Loaded.
2. Ohio State
Winning in a sexy fashion but despsite the Florida win they have not been challenged yet. The upcoming Seminole game should be interesting to watch as the FSU team has talent. Not saying a upset but a much better measuring stick over some of the Buckeyes other wins.
3. Pittisburgh
Just a tough team. Got wins over Texas and Maryland here of late and it just seems they will be a Top 5 team all year.
4. Michigan State
Even though they lost to UConn this team still is in the Top 4 so far this year. They are a nicely built Izzo team that should be hanging around amongst the top teams all year.
Non-BCS
San Diego State
They have not played anyone since they beat Gonzaga but they still continue to win. Both valid points to being ranked here.
