South Carolina basketball coach Frank Martin has been a busy man as he has landed four recruits for the Gamecocks basketball program in the last two days.
Shooting guard Thaddeus Hall and wing Mindaugas Kacinas made their verbal pledge to South Carolina on Thursday night. Then today the momentum continued with point guard Tarik Phillip and big man Laimonas Chatkevicius indicating they wanted to be members of the Gamecocks squad also.
These four recent recruits are all solid, well-rounded players that are sure to give the Gamecocks a new look with new energy. As you can tell, Coach Martin is quickly getting his arms around the program and getting his type kids in to play.
With the four additions to the 2012-13 team, South Carolina still has one scholarship left to give. Don’t forget that USC has a pledge from Tyrone Haughton of Miami.

Not sure about you but the team for next season is shaping up to be a good one. No they may not win the SEC but they will make it interesting and that is a nice change for the program. We here are already taking a liking to Coach Martin.
