SEC Hoops Power Poll: Second Week Ballot

SECPOWERPOLL2008
SEC hoops is well underway and some movement has happened since our last ballot.  Feel free to comment and let us know where we missed in our rankings.

Here are the results from last week and below is our ballot for this week:

1.  Kentucky – Winning so the bluegrass state is happy.  Looming matchup with USC could tell a lot about both teams.
2. Georgia – Beat Ole Miss but upcoming Tennessee game will tell how much bite the team has.
3. USC – Beat the Gators but real question is can they be consistent every game.  Will see with Razorbacks and Wildcats this week.
4. Florida – Must work to show that the USC loss should not have happened.
5.  Arkansas – Best in the SEC West but that does not say a lot so far.
6. Vanderbilt – The team and coaches can do better that the 1-2 start in SEC play.
7. Tennessee –  Loaded with talent but forget how to play basketball at times.
8. Miss State – Now the fight is behind them, it seems this team is beginning to play better.
9.  Bama – Another team that needs to play consistent but with a weak West, they could end up near the top if they can quit being bi-polar.
10. Ole Miss – 0-3 in SEC…did not see that happening.  The Black Bears have to be ashamed.
11.  LSU – Now the Les Miles talk is over, maybe the basketball team can pay attention.
12.  Auburn – Maybe they should pay basketball players?
