So who is the best basketball teams in the SEC you ask, well let me tell you who this Gamecocks blog feels is the best heading into the week of Jan. 23-29….see below…
1. UK – Bama was a bump in the road and after some bad language the squad defeated a young Cocky team to make the grass blue again in “Big Blue Nation.”
2. UGa – Upcoming games will tell us what this team is all about (UK and UF on the slate)
3. UF – Gators confuse me. Got the talent but shaky in performing.
4. Vandy – The ‘Dores made St. Mary’s cuss and it was a resume building win. Can it continue for Vandy?
5. Bama – The Tide is rolling in the SEC West and beat UK recently so that says something, right?
6. Vols – This team screams “underperforming.”
7. USC – Quality club just needs some experience.
8. Arkansas – Could use Ryan Mallet’s passing.
9. Miss State – At any point this team will be better but that could also mean next year.
10. Ole Miss – Disappointment is brewing in Mississippi.
11. LSU – Tiger fans beginning to think about baseball.
12. Auburn – What basketball team, still celebrating the national championship.
