South Carolina (10-20, 2-14 SEC) is the No. 12 seed in the event and will play No. 5 seed Alabama (20-10, 9-7 SEC) in the first round of the tournament on Thursday, March 8 at 3:30 p.m. ET, with the game to be televised on the SEC Network.
The winner of the South Carolina versus Alabama contest will advance to play No. 4 seed Florida on Friday, March 9 at 3:30 p.m. ET on the SEC Network.
