When you live in South Carolina, there is always talk of the South Carolina vs. Clemson football rivalry. A feud that has seen “the USC” beat the team from the Upstate five straight years. So the Tigers have not had the ability to talk too much of late.
However, we had the pleasure of discussing the two teams. Once we pulled out the stats below the Clemson fan we spoke with could not say too much when you combine the stats and five losses.
Here are some stats or ammo to use when talking to a Clemson fan:
2010 to 2013 – Record vs. teams who finished in AP top 25:
USC 13-7, Clemson 6-9
Record vs. teams who finished in AP top 10:
USC 5-4, Clemson 0-6
In the 2013 season, Record vs. top 25 / top 10:
USC 5-0 vs. top 25 and 3-0 vs. top 10
Clemson 1-2 vs. top 25 and 0-2 vs. top 10
