64 is the Carolina record for Coaching wins. Rex Enright won 64 games from 1938 – 42 and 1946 – 1955. Steve Spurrier is second on the list with 55 wins. Spurrier has also coached 50 fewer games than Enright. It has been rumored that Spurrier wants to hold that record as the winningest coach at South Carolina, which if true would hardly be a surprise. If the Gamecocks can replicate last season’s success Spurrier will have the chance to move into 1st place in October or November.
