Last week the LOHD staff did very well picking the games. Here are the standings and this weeks picks:

Auburn v. MISSISSIPPI STATE
LJ: Auburn made Clemson look good, Mississippi State gets it done at home.
Flounder: I like Dan Mullen in this game due to the Bulldogs ability to run. If Clemson can do it, so can MSU.
Bryant: Miss St. Mullen notches his first SEC West win not against Ole Miss.
Billy: Gene Chizik’s record without Cam Newton? 21-30. No Cam Newton? Bulldogs win.
Western Kentucky v. ALABAMA
LJ: Western Kentucky should go ahead and just forfeit. Bama big.
Flounder: Bama will conquer the Hilltoppers. It could be ugly.
Bryant: Alabama
Billy: This is just as good as a bye week for Alabama. Tide cruise.

Florida v. TEXAS A&M
LJ: New head coach, first game in the SEC. Florida gets the “W”
Flounder: Love this match-up. Going to go with A&M for some reason, maybe since UF is shaky and A&M is hungry to prove themselves.
Bryant: Must win game for Muschamp. A&M sitting out last week hurts the Aggies as UF gets a win.
Billy: The Gators offense can’t do much, but their defense can. Gators welcome Aggies.
Georgia State v. TENNESSEE
LJ: Dooley off the hot seat, Vol’s 2-0 to start the season.
Flounder: UT will have a “Bray Day” via the pass.
Bryant: Vols tune up for the Gators.
Billy: Vols fine tune their passing offense and blow away Georgia State.
Washington v. LSU
LJ: Death Valley at night is no place for a PAC 12 school. LSU wins big.
Flounder: Could be fun to watch. LSU will be tested but by the end of the game, the SEC defense and speed will be too much. LSU all the way.
Bryant: LSU, though closer than those on the Bayou will care for.
Billy: LSU is too much for the Huskies. This will be a methodical beating.
UTEP v. OLE MISS
LJ: UTEP gave Oklahoma trouble last week; they beat ole miss this week.
Flounder: Could see a upset but key word is could. UTEP has a chance but still think the Rebels pull out a nail-bitter.
Bryant: Ole Miss, but ugly.
Billy: The Freeze era continues its rocky start, and the Miners knock off an SEC foe.
Arkansas v. LOUISIANA-MONROE
LJ: Hogs take down cupcake #2. Smith for coach of the year.
Flounder: Arky will have fun in this game.
Bryant: Arky.
Billy: Hogs know how to deal with mid-majors. Expect 300+ yards passing.
Kent State v. KENTUCKY
LJ: Kentucky rebounds after looking terrible last weekend. Big win for Big Blue.
Flounder: I’m going with Kent State. Sorry Joker but you have proved nothing to me in week one.
Bryant: Joker gets the W, but doesn’t answer many questions.
Billy: This may be very close. The Wildcats are very bad, but not this bad.
Georgia v. MISSOURI
LJ: Best Match up of week #2, Georgia in a close one.
Flounder: Mizz pulls the upset. Don’t quote me but I do think UGa will have trouble.
Bryant: Mizzou takes advantage of a short handed UGA D.
Billy: A fired-up Tiger squad takes advantage of UGa’s secondary woes.
Vanderbilt v. NORTHWESTERN
LJ: Vandy gets big win, defense looks good against the Wildcats.
Flounder: Vandy. Coach Franklin has something going up yonder.
Bryant: Vandy bounces back with a solid W.
Billy: Vanderbilt notches another win for the SEC over B1G, and quite easily.
East Carolina v. SOUTH CAROLINA
LJ: Banged up Shaw, USC will look for Lattimore to run for big game. USC in a closer than expected win.
Flounder: USC with or without Shaw. Lattimore has a great day running the ball and the USC defense plays big.
Bryant: Spurrier rides Lattimore to a win.
Billy: South Carolina grinds out a win with a less than awesome offense.
