The USAToday Coaches’ Poll has released its preseason edition. No suprise that Alabama is number 1 followed by Ohio State and Florida. The Crimson Tide garnered 55 of 59 first place votes; the other 4 went to Ohio State. The top ten:

Oklahoma, who finished the last season unranked, apparently had a great off season and gets the benefit of starting 2010 in the Top 10. South Carolina is in the Others Receiving Votes (ORV) section and would be 34th if the poll went that far.
