With the recent departure of Darrin Horn as the South Carolina Gamecocks basketball coach, Bruce Ellington is weighing his options and is considering a return to the football field.
Yes, he did say basketball was his direction but it seems the wind has blown.
There is no concrete answer yet but lots of talk on message boards including TheBigSpur.com. Ellington has also been added to the USC sports site as a member of the football team…check it out for yourself -> South Carolina Official Athletic Site – Football
Ellington earned Freshman All-SEC honors in football in 2011, gaining 707 all-purpose yards. Having him will strengthen the USC passing attack but is a big blow to the basketball team.
Stay tuned for the official word but why add him to the site to just remove him….
