This is it. The South Carolina Gamecocks vs. Georgia Bulldogs game is upon us. The city of Columbia, South Carolina is all sorts of hyped-up over this game as it should because this game has a lot to do with the outcome of the SEC East and it is a Top 10 match-up so it does carry weight in the hunt for a BCS berth for both squads.
For South Carolina to win, the Gamecocks have to control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. The key player in this game on offense for USC is Marcus Lattimore as he has to be successful on the ground. On defense, the key is Jadeveon Clowney as he must spend time in the UGa backfield or demand the double team to free up Devin Taylor. Basically, pressure on UGa’s Aaron Murray is a must.
This game is likely to be close as we are talking about two heavyweights going toe-to-toe. This game should be special and the Gamecocks should come out with a victory.
