The University of South Carolina concluded spring practices today and Coach Steve Spurrier left a classic quote going into summer.
In discussing the importance of summer workouts with the media, Spurrier handed this quote –
“We’ve tried to teach our players here’s what you do this summer…and I mean all summer long. “Spurrier said. “Some guys do it and some go drink beer all summer.”
Love it. Truth hurts and let’s hope everyone on the team takes summer very serious. What they do now until August is what will determine how far USC can go in 2011.
