Not so good news out of the USC Gamecocks Baseball camp as Head Coach Ray Tanner has dismissed Sophomore Ethan Carter from the baseball team for a violation of team rules.
Word is it was related to “attitude issues” which could mean anything and as of this blog post, no real news on “why.” Ray Tanner said in a statement released by the University that he will have no further comment on the matter.
Certainly a blow to the team as Carter was in the mix to be a weekend starter or at least provide key support in the pitching game. As when anything like this occurs, don’t dwell on it and let’s move on. We here wish Mr. Carter the best in the next chapter of his life.
