The Post & Courier’s beat writer for South Carolina sports, Travis Haney, had the tweet of the night on Friday after the Gamecocks defeated Clemson in baseball by the score of 6-3.
For those that can not read the screen shot below of Haney’s Tweet, it says:
Clemson fan screaming at Leggett while he was doing postgame: “We’re tired of being No. 2 in this state!”
I love it! It is great to be a Gamecock! Fresh off a 2010 National Championship year and being able to say that you have beat your ribal 13 of last 18 games. Sorry Jack, that fan that yelled at you has a point.
