Former USC Gamecocks running back Mike Davis has found a new home with the Luebeck Cougars in Germany.
Last week, the Cougars secured the services of Mike Davis for half a year after former William Penn University standout and All American Donald Carpenter ruptured his patellar tendon leading to his season being over.
Mike had a great debut, 191 yards rushing with two TDs and 1 passing TD. Very nice and good luck to Mike, hope the winning streak continues and the NFL sees the potential come fall of 2010.
It has been reported that Mike Davis wants to use this opportunity in Germany to sharpen his skills to make another run at the NFL this fall. He had been with the Buffalo Bills on their practice squad most recently prior to this opportunity.
