Former Minnesota Twins third baseman Brian Buscher has joined the USC coaching staff as a student assistant.

USC junior outfielder Jackie Bradley Jr. has been rated the No. 3 best prospect for Team USA this summer by Baseball America. Bradley had a stellar summer with the U.S. Collegiate National Team batting .318 (21-for-66) with 13 runs scored a homer and 11 RBI as the Red, White & Blue earned a silver medal at the 2010 V FISU World University Championships in Tokyo, Japan.

- UGA running back Washaun Early was arrested early this morning in a hit-and-run. He hit a parked car while driving through campus and was picked up by campus police and after checking surveillance video determined it was Early. He was also charged with driving with a suspended license. Story is still developing…
