Happy New Year to everyone especially the Gamecock faithful that read our little opinion site on our beloved South Carolina Gamecocks mixed-in with other nonsense. 2010 was special for us three USC alumni for many reasons and also special for the South Carolina sports program. Much to be thankful for yet much to hope for in 2011 as new opportunities are in front of everyone.
Keep life in perspective and keep the state of USC sports in perspective. USC football is the SEC East defending champs going into 2011 and the baseball team is the defending National Champs. 2010 also saw a men’s basketball team knock off a #1 on national TV. Those are just three good things about being a Gamecock fan in 2010 and heading into 2011. Continue the grind to be the best as the best is yet to come.
Today is day one of a New Year and we here at LOHD wish everyone a blessed 2011. Thank you to all that read our site and special thanks to those that have read our stuff since we began in 2005. As we always say around here…It is Great to Be a Gamecock.
