SEC Notes to Note: Texas A&M Again and Old Reb

Seems two old issues have popped back up this past week with the Texas A&M to the SEC talks resurfacing and then Colonel Reb from Ole Miss trying to come back alive as the mascot.

If you recall the Colonel was retired due to the perception it brings and replaced with a black bear.  Well, a State of Mississippi legislative member introduced a bill that could require Ole Miss to bring back Colonel Reb.  “If passed, the bill would require Ole Miss to make Colonel Reb its official mascot. The school would also have to play songs “Dixie” and “From Dixie With Love” before and after every game.”  Interesting….how do you feel about it?

Haven’t we heard the talk of the Aggies to the SEC before?  Well, here we go again as this writer lays out five reasons why the A&M issue is soon to resurface and be completed this time.  How do you feel about a 13 team SEC?  My vote is no.  Will money overrule me?
