The South Carolina football team landed a verbal pledge from offensive lineman Alan Knott Sunday night.
Knott is the fourth offensive line commitment for the Gamecocks this recruiting cycle and second of this past weekend. Nice little run.
The 6-foot-4, 265-pounder chose USC over offers from the likes of UNC, Virginia Tech, Miami and Louisville.
He’s the fourth offensive line commitment, joining the Dillon (S.C.) duo of offensive tackle D.J. Park and center Bryce King as well as Kingsland (Ga.) Camden County offensive tackle J.P. Vonashek, who committed to South Carolina on Saturday.
He has a 247Sports rates him as a 3-star prospect. Likely will redshirt to put on weight but has good footwork. Should play a big role in the future on the OL.
