Devin Washington, a top defensive end recruit from Orlando, has committed to the South Carolina Gamecocks.
This is the second commitment of the day from a defensive end-type as this commit from Washington comes shortly after three-star David Johnson from Lithonia (Ga.) pleged to be a member of the Gamecocks football team.
Washington stands 6’3″ and weighs 225 pounds. Washington holds offers from Boston Coll., Cincinnati, Clemson, Duke, Illinois, Iowa St., Kansas, Louisville, Missouri, N.C. State, Northwestern, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Rutgers, South Florida, SMU, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest and West Virginia. He is rated three and four stars by the various recruiting services.
Washington will play defensive end/outside linebacker at South Carolina and is commitment No. 11 for the Gamecocks in the 2013 class.
