The South Carolina Gamecocks are pursuing Mike Davis to be the next running back in the garnet and black as a member of the Class of 2012. Davis is visiting USC this weekend but is he already a “secret commitment?”
The AJC labeled him this. If true this is wonderful as he is exactly the type running back USC could use in the future.
Davis has indicated that he has made his decision but is taking more visits. He will go to Georgia next weekend and Clemson the last weekend of the month. He also has visited Tennessee and Florida State. He plans to announce on Signing Day.
Most say it is down to UGa or USC. Recently, the ‘Dawgs got Todd Gurley as their second running back in the class. This likely hurts UGa’s chances.
No reason to keep your love for the Gamecocks a secret even if your brother is James Davis.
